Dheeraj Mogilineni, who produced the recent box office hit The Girlfriend, is now working on his next production. Dheeraj will be co-producing the film with Giribabu Vallabhaneni, which is directed by Palnati Surya Pratap. The project was officially launched on Saturday with a muhurtham puja ceremony.
Sangeeth Shobhan, known for his work in MAD franchise, will play the lead role in the untitled project.
The Girlfriend filmmaker Rahul Ravindran attended the ceremony among others. He handed over the script while producer SKN gave the muhurtham clap, extending his wishes to the team.
Dheeraj Mogilineni later shared in an X post, that the shoot will commence soon, sharing some more snippets from the muhurtham ceremony.
Billed as a trendy love story, this film will mark the 3rd production under Dheeraj Mogilineni Entertainments banner, after Ambajipeta Marriage Band and The Girlfriend. Lakshmi Bhupala has penned the script. More details about the primary cast and crew will be announced shortly.
Surya Pratap is known for making the pathbreaking 2015 film Kumari 21F and the 2022 film 18 Pages.
Sangeeth Shobhan has another big project in the pipeline, which is directed by Manasa Sharma and produced by Niharika Konidela.
