We had reported a few months ago about Jaya Krishna, Mahesh Babu’s nephew, planning to foray into Telugu cinema with a big project. The details about the project are now finally confirmed. Ajay Bhupathi, known for making popular films like RX 100 and Mangalavaaram, is directing the film, serving as a launch vehicle for Jaya Krishna. P Kiran Garu is producing it under Chandamama Kathalu banner, while Ashwini Dutt of Vyjayanthi Movies is onboard as the presenter.
Tentatively billed as AB4, the film is mounted as an intense love story set against the breathtaking backdrop of rugged hills. The announcement poster features a hand-drawn monochromatic sketch of Tirumala Temple and the surrounding hills, capturing the backdrop where the story unfolds. One can also see a distant red colour object at the top. The poster overall promises the film to also explore themes of spirituality and self-discovery.
It is to be noted that Ashwini Dutt had also introduced Mahesh Babu with Rajakumarudu, besides producing the massive hit Agni Parvatham with Mahesh Babu’s father Krishna. According to sources, Jaya Krishna is undergoing intense training in fights and dance for the role.
The regular shoot is set to commence this month, with the title and more details including the primary cast and cre are to be revealed soon.
