Mass Jathara locks Ganesh Chaturthi release date

The makers of Mass Jathara, starring Ravi Teja and Sreeleela, have officially announced that the film will release in theatres on August 27, coinciding with the Ganesh Chaturthi weekend. Billed as a mass entertainer with vintage elements and commercial appeal, the film is set to capitalise on the festive holiday.

Directed by Bhanu Bhogavarapu, Mass Jathara features Ravi Teja in the energetic role of a police officer. Sreeleela plays the female lead, marking another collaboration between the two after their previous box-office success, Dhamaka. The film is bankrolled by Naga Vamsi and Sai Soujanya under the banners of Sithara Entertainments, Fortune Four Cinemas, and Srikara Studios.

The first single from Mass Jathara was recently released and received attention for its upbeat tempo and danceable rhythm. The film's music is composed by Bheems Ceciroleo. Cinematography is by Vidhu Ayyanna, with editing by National Award-winner Navin Nooli. Dialogues are written by Nandu Savirgama, and production design is handled by Sri Nagendra Tangala.

The first look teaser of Mass Jathara, which came out a few months ago, showcases Ravi Teja delivering the line “Manadhe Idhantha”, which has resonated with his fan base, hinting at a return to his signature mass appeal. The film is currently in the final stages of post-production.
