Sai Durgha Tej’s upcoming dystopian action drama SYG (Sambarala Yetigattu) has successfully completed 75% of the shoot in 120 days of production. The high-budget action entertainer is directed by debutant Rohith KP.
The film also starring Aishwarya Lekshmi is currently slated for a pan-Indian release on September 25, currently clashing with Pawan Kalyan’s OG. However, reports suggest that the film might get another release date because Pawan Kalyan is Sai Durgha Tej’s uncle and that both their makers might not opt for a clash.
SYG (Sambarala Yetigattu) is being bankrolled by Niranjan Reddy, who is basking in the success of last year’s HanuMan, and Chaitanya Reddy under the Prime Show Entertainments banner. As for the next step of the shoot, the crew is said to be constructing three new massive sets which are going to act as important backdrops. High-octane action sequences are said to be planned to be shot in these sets.
The technical crew SYG (Sambarala Yetigattu) has cinematography by Vetri Palanisamy, music composed by Ajaneesh Loknath, editing by Naveen Vijaya Krishna, and production design led by Gandhi Nadikudikar. The film’s extended cast includes Srikanth Meka, Ananya Nagalla, Jagapathi Babu, and Sai Kumar, among others.
