Ram Charan has been honoured with a wax statue at Madame Tussauds London, making him the first Indian celebrity to be depicted alongside a pet at the museum. His dog, Rhyme, is featured beside him in the installation, placing him among rare company, the only other figure represented with a pet being Queen Elizabeth II.

The statue was unveiled at a private event in London, attended by Ram Charan’s family, including his parents Chiranjeevi and Surekha. Originally planned for a later date, the announcement was made now as the family felt it was an appropriate time to share the moment.

Ram Charan’s statue features him in the black velvet bandhgala he wore at the 2023 Academy Awards, where Naatu Naatu,’ from his film RRR, won Best Original Song. The figure is intended to mark both his growing international recognition and the bond he shares with his dog.

The installation is set to be on display at Madame Tussauds London until May 19, after which it will be moved to the Singapore museum. The wax figure will join other Indian celebrities including Prabhas, Mahesh Babu, Allu Arjun, Kajal Aggarwal, and Sridevi.
