Vijay Deverakonda’s birthday marked by posters from VD14 and SVC59

On the occasion of Vijay Deverakonda’s birthday on Friday, the makers of two of his upcoming films, tentatively referred to as VD14 and SVC 59, unveiled new posters, offering a first look into the actor’s roles in both projects.

VD14, directed by Rahul Sankrityan, is a period action drama set during the British colonial era, between 1854 and 1878. Produced by Mythri Movie Makers and T-Series, the film is set to feature Rashmika Mandanna as the female lead. The concept poster shows a back shot of a visually enhanced Deverakonda in a meditative pose, hinting at a serious and reflective character. The project is described as being based on true events and will be mounted on a large scale.

Meanwhile, SVC 59, directed by Ravi Kiran Kola, is set in a rural backdrop and is being developed as a mass-action drama. The film is produced by Dil Raju and Shirish under the Sri Venkateswara Creations banner. Recently Dil Raju, leaked the title of the film as Rowdy Janardhana but a proper announcement is yet to be out. A visually striking poster of the actor in silhouette was also released.

Both projects are billed as pan-India films, with shooting scheduled to commence soon. Vijay Deverakonda awaits the release of Gowtam Tinnanuri’s Kingdom which is scheduled fo rMay 30 but reports suggest that the film might be pushed to July. An official announcement is yet to be out.
