Lal Chauhan, a city-based lawyer, failed the complaint at SR Nagar police station. As stated in the complaint, Vijay Deverakonda said at the event, “India doesn’t need to attack Pakistan; their own people will turn against them and attack their government, exhausted after a point. Their activities remind of the tribal wars done 500 years ago, done without any common sense or intellect,” talking about the recent Pahalgam attack. In the same speech, Vijay also said, “The solution for this (Kashmir) issue is to give Pakistanis a proper education about things. Kashmir belongs to India, and Kashmiris are our people.”

Vijay Deverakonda, who is gearing up for his next big release Kingdom, is yet to officially respond to the complaint.
