The first glimpse from Ram Charan’s Peddi, which has been titled “First shot,” will be revealed on April 6, on the occasion of Sri Rama Navami. The update follows the recent release of the film’s title and first-look posters on the actor’s birthday. The sports drama is directed by Buchi Babu Sana, which marks his second directorial after Uppena.
Backed by Mythri Movie Makers, Sukumar Writings, and Vriddhi Cinemas, the film is produced by Venkata Satish Kilaru. Peddi is said to feature Ram Charan in a rustic and intense role, marking a departure from his previous on-screen personas. The announcement poster hints at an action-packed sequence, showing the actor mid-air in a dynamic moment.
Peddi boasts a strong ensemble cast, including Janhvi Kapoor, Kannada star Shivarajkumar, Jagapathi Babu, and Divyendu Sharma. It also brings together an acclaimed technical team, with AR Rahman composing the music, R Rathnavelu handling cinematography, Navin Nooli as the editor, and Avinash Kolla as the production designer.
The first-look posters of Peddi, released a few days ago, depicted Ram Charan in a rugged look, sporting long hair, a beard, a nose ring, and a cigar. Another poster featured him holding a cricket bat in a rural stadium under floodlights, hinting at a sports theme.
