The 2009 Allu Arjun starrer Arya 2 is scheduled for a theatrical re-release on April 4. Allu Arjun’s team made the announcement on Sunday. Directed by Sukumar, this film serves as a spiritual sequel to the 2004 blockbuster Arya. The film marked the second collaboration between the Pushpa director and Arjun, who went on to make four films together.
Arya 2 revolves around two orphans, Arya (Allu Arjun) and Ajay (Navdeep), who share a complex relationship marked by friendship and envy. The film is noted for its choreography and music, with Devi Sri Prasad's compositions, songs like ‘Ringa Ringa’ and ‘My Love Is Gone’, achieving significant popularity.
