Chandini Chowdary, who had three releases last year, will soon be seen headlining the comedy-drama Santhana Prapthirasthu. The first single of the film, titled ‘Naalo Edho,’ was unveiled on Wednesday.
Penned by Sreejo, ‘Naalo Edho’ is a groovy love song, presenting an interesting fusion of peppy beats and swoony melody. Sunil Kasyap is the composer, while Dinker and Aditi Bhavaraju are the playback singers. The song video, choreographed by Laxm an Kalahasti, captures the protagonist’s blossoming romance over text messages, bike rides and breakfast dates.
Vikranth plays the male lead in Santhana Prapthirasthu. The teaser of the film, releases a few days ago, promises to tell the story of a software engineer who faces trouble in his relationship because of a low sperm-count. Pressurised by friends and society, the hero resolves to overcome the barrier by any means possible in order to have a steady, happy marital life. Popular actors like Abhinav Gomatam, Vennela Kishore, Tharun Bhasker, Harsha Vardhan and Muralidhar Goud will be seen as part of the supporting cast.
Sanjeev Reddy, who helms the direction, has also co-written the story and screenplay with Sheikh Dawood G. The dialogues, meanwhile, are penned by Kalyan Raghav. Mahi Reddy Pandugula is the cinematographer, and Shiva Kumar Macha helms the production design.
Santhana Prapthirasthu is produced by Madhura Sreedhar Reddy and Nirvi Hariprasad Reddy. The makers are yet to announce a release date for their film.
