Robinhood trailer: A promising commercial potboiler with all the necessary parts 

Nithiin’s upcoming entertainer, Robinhood, got its trailer on Sunday. The trailer opens showcasing Nithiin’s character as a Robinhood-esque thief. He is chosen as security for Nila, played by Sree Leela, in association with a firm owned by Rajendra Prasad’s character. The scenes featuring Rajendra Prasad, Nithiin and Vennela Kishore are rib-tickling with some goofy but working humour. The music by GV Prakash hits the right notes in packaging this commercial entertainer. Robinhood is all geared up to strike the big screens on March 28.

Robinhood is written and directed by Venky Kudumula. The comedy also stars Shine Tom Chacko, Mime Gopi among others. Cricketer David Warner is teased at the end of the trailer and his fans in Telugu are massively waiting for his debut in the film. Naveen Yerneni and Y Ravi Shankar bankrolled the film under the Mythri Movie Makers banner. 

Robinhood’s technical crew includes cinematography by Sai Sriram, editing by Koti and production design by Raam Kumar. The Nithiin starrer is clashing with MAD Square, the sequel to MAD at the box office.
