Yevade Subramanyam to hit theatres again on this date

Yevade Subramanyam, the 2015 film starring Nani, Malavika Nair, and Vijay Deverakonda in lead roles, will be re-released in theatres next week, the makers announced on Thursday. The coming-of-age drama produced by Swapna Cinema, which incidentally completes 10 years next week, will hit theatres on March 21. 

On the occasion, the makers also shared a photo where the film’s leads could be seen recreating the poster image, which features the three of them in a jubilant mood amidst a night bike ride.  

Yevade Subramanyam told the story of a career obsessed corporate man who sets on a journey towards self-discovery. It was reportedly the first movie to be shot at some of Mount Everest’s highest points. Also starring Ritu Varma, Nassar, and Janaki, Yevade Subramanyam marked the feature film debut for Nag Ashwin, who went on to make films like Mahanati and Kalki 2898 AD. 

Yevade Subramanyam also marked the only time Nani and Vijay Deverakonda shared screen together. The film particularly played an instrumental role in Vijay’s career, who soon bagged successful films as lead hero like Pelli Choopulu and Arjun Reddy.
