Allari Naresh’s upcoming film has been officially titled Alcohol, the makers announced on Monday coinciding with Naresh's birthday. The project is being produced under the banners of Sithara Entertainments and Fortune Four Cinemas, and presented by Srikara Studios. The film is written and directed by Meher Tej.
The first look poster was also unveiled along with the title. It features a close-up of Allari Naresh’s face partially submerged in alcohol, hinting at themes of psychological complexity and blurred realities.
Alcohol also stars Ruhani Sharma in a key role. The film’s technical crew includes composer Ghibran. Cinematography is by Jiju Sunny, while editing is handled by Niranjan Devaramane. Production design is by Vishal Abani. The film’s screenplay is co-written by Udbhav Raghunandan.
Allari Naresh, who has recently appeared in more serious roles following a career rooted in comedy, appears to continue that trajectory with Alcohol. The title and visuals suggest a story exploring mental states, addiction, or emotional descent, though further plot details are yet to be revealed.
The film is jointly produced by S. Naga Vamsi and Sai Soujanya, with Venkat Upputuri serving as co-producer. A release date is yet to be announced, and the film is currently in production. Naresh also has 12 A Railway Colony, which is a horror-thriller in pipeline.
