The official trailer of the upcoming Vijay Deverakonda starrer Kingdom was unveiled on Saturday. The makers held a grand ceremony in Tirupari for the occasion. While director Gowtam Tinnanuri was not present on the occasion, the ceremony was attended by Vijay, female lead Bhagyashri Borse and producer S Naga Vamsi.

Seemingly set against a dystopian backdrop, Kingdom promises to tell the story of a spy who is assigned a high-profile task of infiltrating an unfamiliar territory, leaving him everything that’s close to him. However, as the spy protagonist finds himself deeper in his new world, tables turn on the mission with him becoming an unexpected ally for the army he is supposed to battle against. Satyadev will appear in a significant role as Siva. The film also features Manish Chaudhary among others.

Speaking about his film, Naga Vamsi said at the event, “We are presenting to you a unique kind of action-gangster drama. The intensity you saw in Vijay Deverakonda’s eyes in Arjun Reddy, we promise you Kingdom will have the same intensity.” Naga Vamsi had also produced Gowtam’s previous movie Jersey, which has acquired a cult status in the last few years.
