Venkatesh Daggubati, currently basking in the success of this year’s Sankranthiki Vasthunnam, confirmed a slate of upcoming projects during his appearance at the 8th America Telugu Sambaralu event held by the North American Telugu Society (NATS) in the United States. The highlight of his announcement was a multistarrer with Nandamuri Balakrishna, marking the first full-length collaboration between the two senior stars.
“The biggest one will be with my friend Balayya,” Venkatesh told the audience, sparking loud cheers from fans and film enthusiasts attending the event.
In addition to the Balakrishna project, Venkatesh also revealed four more films in his pipeline. First is a collaboration with director Trivikram Srinivas, which will be their first major feature together. The project is yet to be formally announced.
Venkatesh also confirmed a cameo appearance in Mega157, the upcoming Chiranjeevi–Anil Ravipudi film. “That’s gonna be a fun one!” he said, hinting at a lighter role in the multi-starrer.
A sequel to Sankranthiki Vasthunnam is also in the works, once again with Anil Ravipudi, adding to their successful collaborations that began with F2 and F3.
Lastly, Venkatesh confirmed that Drishyam 3 is on the cards, where he will once again team up with Meena to continue the thriller franchise.
With five projects confirmed across different genres and collaborators, Venkatesh’s upcoming schedule appears packed for the next two to three years. More details, including production timelines and casting announcements, are expected from the respective teams in the coming months.
