After various delays, the makers of Vijay Devarakonda’s upcoming action film, Kingdom, announced the new release date to be July 31. Along with the release date, makers dropped a high-stakes promo showcasing Vijay’s character as a spy who transforms into a leader. The teaser showcases a lot of action and adds more characters.
The spy action drama has been postponed multiple times but this latest news of the release date provides a sigh of relief for fans and cinephiles. The makers only confirmed Telugu and Tamil release and reports suggest that the Hindi version is set for a direct OTT premiere.
Bhagyashri Borse plays another lead. The film is backed by producers Naga Vamsi and Sai Soujanya under Sithara Entertainments and Fortune Four Cinemas, and presented by Srikara Studios.
Kingdom’s music is composed by Anirudh Ravichander, with cinematography by Jomon T John and Girish Gangadharan. Editing is handled by Navin Nooli and production design by Avinash Kolla.
Written and directed by Gowtam Tinnanuri, Kingdom is set in Sri Lanka under military control. The film’s previous teaser features voice-overs from Jr NTR (Telugu), Ranbir Kapoor (Hindi), and Suriya (Tamil), introducing an intense world of conflict, survival, and rebellion.
