Earlier today, actor Sreeleela took to her Instagram Stories to share a picture of herself holding a bouquet of flowers with a note that says, “Happy Doctor's Day”. This aligns with her being a qualified doctor and the significance of the day in India, honouring the medical profession. The actor has an MBBS degree.
Reportedly, she took a break from acting to concentrate on her medical degree a couple of years ago. Sreeleela made the decision to complete her degree in medicine after seeing her ill grandmother and the lack of immediate medical care for her, which inspired the actor. She mentioned that she balanced her medical studies by focusing on MBBS theory during film shoot breaks and attending the hospital for practical experience in between shoots.
Speaking of which, Sreeleela recently made headlines after reportedly quitting Lenin, starring Akhil Akkineni and directed by Murali Kishore Abburu, for scheduling concerns. The actor has an extremely busy schedule, with multiple projects across various languages, including Ustaad Bhagat Singh with Pawan Kalyan; Junior, the Telugu/Kannada bilingual; Mass Jathara with Ravi Teja; Parasakthi in Tamil with Sivakarthikeyan; and her highly anticipated debut opposite Kartik Aaryan in an Anurag Basu directorial.
