

The makers of the much-anticipated pan-Indian film Thandel, starring Naga Chaitanya and Sai Pallavi, unveiled a small prelude glimpse of the film’s trailer. The prelude has a village community declaring that Raju (Naga Chaitanya) is their Thandel. And then the glimpse has a dialogue, “What is Thandel?” The makers announced that the meaning will be revealed with the trailer, which is set to be launched in Visakhapatnam on January 28.
Recently, the film’s producer, Sarath Chandra, aka Bunny Vas, took to his X page to announce that Allu Aravind, the film’s presenter, watched the film and gave it a thumbs up. He wrote, “Thandel passed with distinction. Certified by the dean of Allu University—Allu Aravind gaaru.”
Thandel is a love story set along the Srikakulam coast, with Naga Chaitanya portraying a fisherman captured by the Pakistani army. Sai Pallavi is said to be playing an equally powerful role in the film. Written and directed by Chandoo Mondeti, known for the National Award-winning Karthikeya 2. Shamdat cranked the camera while Srinagendra Tangala served as production designer. Devi Sri Prasad composed music for the film, which has been getting love from audiences. The pan-Indian film is releasing on February 7.
