Kannappa, the star-studded fantasy drama featuring Vishnu Manchu in the lead, is slated for a theatrical release in April this year. Last week, the makers of the film began their promotions. On Monday, the first glimpse of Prabhas was unveiled.
The makers also announced that the first look of Prabhas will be revealed on Monday, February 3. Prabhas will be seen in a guest appearance in Kannappa, which features special cameos from other actors like Akshay Kumar and Mohanlal as well. Last week, the makers had unveiled character poster for Akshay, who plays Lord Shiva in the movie.
Kannappa is based on the mythological story of Kannappa, a hunter who became a staunch devotee of Shiva and sacrificed his eyes for the Lord. Produced by 24 Frames Factory, Kannappa features stars like Kajal Aggarwal, Sarath Kumar, Mohan Babu, Madhoo, and Preity Mukundhan among many others.
The film is directed by Mukesh Kumar Singh. In the technical crew, Seldon Chau helms cinematography and Anthony Gonsalvez is in charge of editing. The stunts and epic war sequences are choreographed by Kecha Khamphakdee. Prabhudheva is on board as the choreographer.
