Reports suggest that Vijay Deverakonda’s upcoming spy thriller, tentatively referred to as VD12, has been pushed from its originally intended release date of March 28. The makers are said to be aiming to release the film on May 30 owing to production delays. Reports further suggest that film's climax is being shot in Ramoji Film City.
Recently, the film’s producer Naga Vamsi confirmed that the film is going to have two-parts. Fans of Vijay Deverakonda are excited for the news. The action thriller is written and directed by Gowtham Tinnanuri of Jersey and Malli Raava fame. The film also stars Bhagyashri Borse in the lead role. The makers are yet to announce the film’s title.
VD12 has music by Anirudh Ravichander which is adding buzz to the film. The film is bankrolled by Sithara Entertainments in association with Fortune Four Cinemas.
For VD12, Deverakonda underwent a makeover, and the stills were leaked during shoot. Vijay Deverakonda’s last theatrical outing was The Family Star which opened to underwhelming reception from the audiences.
