
Rag Mayur, who was previously seen in the slice-of-life drama Veeranjaneyulu Viharayathra, will soon be seen headlining the web series Sivarapalli. The makers of the show unveiled their official trailer on Friday.
The show follows the journey of Shyam a young engineering graduate who reluctantly takes up a job in Sivarapalli, a remote village in Telangana. The trailer offers a few glimpses of Shyam’s many attempts to adjust to his new life in Sivarapalli and fit in the milieu, while trying to perform his job with sincerity.
Also starring Muralidhar Goud, Rupa Lakshmi, Uday Gurrala, Sunny Palle and Pavani Karanam in the primary cast, Sivarapalli is the official adaptation of the popular TVF original series Panchayat, which starred Jeetendra Kumar in the lead role. Bhaskar Maurya is the series director, while Shanmukh Prashanth is the scriptwriter for the adaptation.

Comprising of eight episodes in its first season, the comedy drama is set to premiere exclusively on Prime Video in India and over 240 countries and territories worldwide on January 24.
Rag Mayur’s upcoming projects include the upcoming film Gandhi Thatha Chettu, which too incidentally is slated for a release on January 24.
