Anand Deverakonda and Vaishnavi Chaitanya, who had famously shared screen in the runaway hit Baby, will be coming together again for an upcoming Sithara Entertainments production. The makers officially announced the project on Wednesday, with an announcement teaser.
Aditya Hasan, who rose to fame with his slice-of-life web series 90s - A Middle Class Biopic, is the writer and director for the project, tentatively titled An Unfinished Story. Interestingly, the film seems to be a spiritual sequel to Aditya’s popular show, built around one of its young protagonists and his love story as he grows up. The announcement teaser is executed in an equally tongue-and-cheek style, with Aditya Hasan convincing Rohan Roy, one of the lead actors in 90s, to make space for the new lead who will be playing his grown-up version. The teaser then reveals Anand Deverakonda who promises for the film to be a relatable, middle class love story.
The teaser also humourously incorporates one of viral quotes by film’s producer Naga Vamsi, where he emphasised on the need for mainstream films to be driven by heroism rather than good story and screenplay.
Hesham Abdul Wahab has been signed as the music director for the film. The editing and cinematography will by Navin Nooli and Azeem Mohammad, respectively. The shooting for the film will commence soon.
