On Monday, the makers of Game Changer lodged an official complaint against 45 individuals for an alleged conspiracy against the film, alleging them of deliberately leaking an HD print of the film on the day of its release. The Game Changer makers filed a complaint with cybercrime police, also providing evidence against the individuals who had allegedly formed a group to campaign against the film.
Reportedly, the producers of the Ram Charan starrer, along with a few other crew members, received threats on social media platforms, where the complainees demanded money from the producers, threatening to leak the pirated version in case their demands were not met.
Allegedly, a planned campaign was conducted through social media pages to spread negativity about the film, followed by the accused intentionally leaking few important scenes from the film two days before the film released in theatres.
Meanwhile, the Game Changer team has been assured that necessary actions will be taken soon. Currently, an investigation is underway to determine whether the individuals planned the conspiracy on their own, or with the help of external support.
