Second single from Kiran Abbavaram’s Dilruba to be out on this date

A few days ago, the makers of the Kiran Abbaravam starrer Dilruba officially postponed their film’s release to March 14. The second single from the film will be unveiled on Tuesday, February 18, the team announced on Monday.

The song, titled ‘Hey Jingili,’ is penned by Bhaskarabhatla and sung by Eswar Penti. Kiran Abbavaram shared a quirky announcement post on his X page, penning, “Unlike the usual terms of endearment used these days like ‘Pookie,’ ‘Cookie’ or ‘Waifu,’ I feel ‘Jingili’ is a much better word for your partner.”

Sam CS, who also composed music for Kiran Abbaravam’s previous release KA, is the music director for Dilruba. The film’s first single, ‘Aggipulle,’ which was released nearly four weeks ago, has over 2.3 million Youtube Hits so far. 

Also starring Rukhsar Dhillon and Nazia Davison, Dilruba is written and directed by Viswa Karun. Ravi, Jojo Jose, Rakesh Reddy and Saregama Studios meanwhile are co-producing the film. The film’s teaser, which was unveiled in January, promises the film to be an intense romantic drama, telling the story of an aggressive young man navigating the trials and tribulations of love and heartbreak.

Dilruba will clash at the box office against the Priyadarshi starrer courtroom drama Court - State Vs a Nobody.
