The trailer of Trikala, a psychological thriller with mythological influences, was unveiled at a launch event on Friday. The film, directed by Mani Thellagutie, stars Shraddha Das, Master Mahendran, Ajay, Sahithi Avancha, Amani, Prabhakar, Ambati Arjun, and Rowdy Rohini in key roles.

The trailer of Trikala opens with a dialogue by Tanikella Bharani,“The war is for the light of tomorrow... but this dark war of Asura seeks to destroy that light.” It hints at a story where mythology and crime intersect, with the protagonist seemingly driven by a vigilante quest. Shraddha Das plays a psychiatrist assigned to the case of the lead character, who struggles with psychological issues.

At the launch event, actor Ajay recalled hearing the story years ago. Mani Sir narrated Trikala to me two or three years ago. I wondered how they'd manage with the budget, but today, after watching the trailer, I am impressed. The film looks outstanding,” he said.

With cinematography by Pawan Chennna, music by Shazith Humayun and Harshavardhan Rameshwar, and extensive VFX work, Trikala aims for a large-scale cinematic experience. The film is set for release in April as a summer special.
