Nithiin-Sreeleela starrer Robinhood has been scheduled for a March 28 release. On Thursday, the makers released the promo of their second single, ‘Wherever You Go,’ also announcing that the full single will be released on Valentine’s Day, that is, February 14.
Sung by Armaan Malik, ‘Wherever You Go’ promises to be a peppy romantic number with playful lyric-writing that incorporates the names of several popular brands and their taglines. Krishnakanth has penned the lyrics. GV Prakash Kumar is the music composer for Robinhood. The first single of the film, ‘One More Time,’ has acquired over 8 million hits on YouTube so far.
Robinhood is produced under the banner of Mythri Movie Makers, with Naveen Yerneni and Y Ravi Shankar. The teaser of the film was released in November last year. Directed by Venky Kudumula, Robinhood promises to be a fun action entertainer, revolving around the adventures of a Robinhood figure, played by Nithiin. He and Sreeleela had earlier worked together in the 2023 film Extraordinary Man. The film also stars veteran actor Rajendra Prasad in a significant role.
Nithiin’s upcoming projects include Thammudu, which is yet to get a release date. Venky Kudumula has previously directed films like Chalo (2018) and Bheeshma (2020), with the latter starring Nithiin and Rashmika Mandanna in the lead.
