Even as the Sai Pallavi-Naga Chaitanya starrer Thandel continues to perform well at the box office, reports have now come in of the film being leaked online. Reporting one such instance, where a bus belonging to Andhra Pradesh State Road Transport Corporation (APSRTC) played the pirated version of Thandel on their vehicle, producer Bunny Vas took to his X page and informed concerned authorities.

On Monday, Bunny Vas posted on his X page, “We have come to know from Ways 2 News that an APSRTC bus (Service No: 3066) played a pirated version of our Thandel.” He added that playing pirated version of their film on a public bus is “now is not only illegal and outrageous but also a blatant insult to the countless individuals who worked tirelessly to bring this film to life.”

The Thandel producer also requested APSRTC chairman Konakalla Narayana to take strict action regarding the same, adding that one must ‘set a strong example to ensure that such incidents never happen again.”

A few days, the makers of Game Changer faced a similar situation, with a local cable TV airing an HD leaked print of their film on their channel. The makers of the Ram Charan had filed a complaint to the cybercrime police about the same.

Meanwhile, Thandel had a successful opening weekend at the boxoffice. According to a report from boxoffice tracker Sacnilk.com, the film collected nearly Rs 37 crore nett at domestic boxoffice.
