The makers of Thala, an upcoming Telugu-Tamil bilingual directed by Amma Rajasekhar, unveiled the first single titled ‘Prema Kutindantey.’ The song offers a satirical commentary on love and its deceptions. The song reminds of the director Amma Rajasekhar’s famous track ‘Bulli Gownu’ from Ranam. Even that track had a similar rhythm and commentary on women. ‘Prema Kutindantey’ has off-beat vocals by Bholey Shavali that make the track interesting with kitsch lyrics and composition by Dharma Teja.

Thala’s trailer depicts a blood soaked world where the protagonist, played by Amma Raagin Raj, is set to do anything for his mother. The film promises a lot of action and violence. The action thriller marks choreographer turned director Amma Rajasekhar’s comeback who made films like Takkari (2007). Amma Raagin Raj, son of Amma Rajasekhar, is making his debut with this film.

Ankitha Nansar plays the lead role. P.Srinivas Goud backed the film under Deepa Arts banner while Radha Rajasekhar is the executive producer. Rohit, Esther Noronha, Satyam Rajesh, Mukku Avinash, Vijji Chandrasekhar, Rajeev Kanakala and Indraja play key roles in the film. Shyam K Naidu, the ace cinematographer, cranked the camera while Dharma Teja and Aslam Keyi composed music. S Thaman, the noted musician, is said to have composed songs for the film.

Thala is gearing up for its theatrical release on February 14. The film is set to clash with Vishwak Sen starrer Laila and Kiran Abbavaram starrer Dilruba at the box office.
