Noted producer Bandla Ganesh has refuted Singanamala Ramesh’s claims that Komaram Puli was delayed due to Pawan Kalyan’s political commitments. In a social media post, Ganesh accused Ramesh of mishandling the production, asserting that the actor was not responsible for the film’s setbacks.
“Singanamala Ramesh garu, it is your fault that you could not plan the film properly. Pawan Kalyan garu wasted a few hundred call sheets by not making any films for three years. I am a direct witness. Please do not make this matter a myth. This is not right,” Ganesh wrote. Bandla Ganesh, who is a vocal strong supporter of Pawan Kalyan, produced his 2012 blockbuster, Gabbar Singh.
His comments came after Ramesh, in a rare media appearance, announced his return to filmmaking and revisited the challenges he faced as a producer. He claimed to have lost ₹100 crore on Komaram Puli and Khaleja and stated that neither Pawan Kalyan nor Mahesh Babu reached out to him after the films’ failures. Ramesh had attributed the delays in Komaram Puli to Pawan Kalyan’s political engagements with the Praja Rajyam Party.
