
The Ram Charan and Genelia Deshmukh starrer Orange is set to rerelease on February 14, on the occasion of Valentine's Day. The 2010 romantic drama was a commercial failure at the time. Gradually, the film acquired a cult following among audiences for its ahead-of-time themes and philosophical exploration of love.
Orange is written and directed by Bommarillu Baskar. The romantic drama was bankrolled by Naga Babu under Anjana Productions. The film also stars Shazahn Padamsee, Prabhu, Prakash Raj, Brahmanandam, Naga Babu, Srinivas Avasarala among others.
Orange revolves around Ram (Ram Charan) a youngster who believes that love doesn’t last forever. He goes from one serious relationship to another. In his pursuit of Jaanu (Genelia), who believes that love is eternal, both of them challenge each other’s views, making them arrive at a common conclusion. The film’s music by Harris Jayaraj became an evergreen classic album. Kiran Reddy and B. Rajasekar cranked the camera while Marthand K Venkatesh edited the romantic film.
Meanwhile, Ram Charan is currently busy with RC16’s shoot, which is written and directed by Buchi Babu Sana. The film is touted as a sports drama.
