On December 25, six Telugu films hit the screens, and Eesha was one among them. A horror thriller featuring Hebah Patel, Thrigun, Siri Hanumanth and Akhil Raj in the lead roles, the film also has Babloo Prithveeraj in a key role. Despite receiving mixed reviews and having no major stars, Eesha has turned out to be the first film from the Christmas releases to achieve breakeven and enter the profit zone.
Facing stiff competition at the box office with multiple releases, Eesha has performed surprisingly well. Within just three days of its release, the film started making profits, once again proving that small films can deliver big results when the content connects with audiences.
Another interesting highlight is that distributors Bunny Vas and Vamsi Nandipati have scored yet another success with this gripping horror thriller. Earlier, the duo had acquired the rights for small films like Little Hearts and Raju Weds Rambai, and Eesha has now joined that successful list.
According to the makers, the film began as a modest release but quickly turned into a major talking point, driven by strong advance bookings and solid audience turnout in theatres. Within just three days, Eesha collected an impressive ₹4.8 crore gross, including premiere shows, marking a significant achievement for a small film.
With consistently good occupancy across centres, the film crossed its breakeven point comfortably within three days. These collections and the steady footfalls clearly underline the box-office success of Eesha.
