Jetlee makers unveil character poster for Vennela Kishore

In the past few weeks, the makers of Jetlee have shared character posters for its lead pair, played by Satya and Rhea Singha. On Thursday, the Jetlee team finally introduced its third major cast member Vennela Kishore with a quirky new poster.

In the new poster, Kishore can be seen seated by a window seat in an airplane, holding a Telugu crossword puzzle book. He can also seen sporting a more youthful look, and a moustache, very rare for his on-screen appearances. “Director can hide this man’s  name, not his aura (Read it in Subhalekha Sudhakar garu’s voice),” the production house captioned the poster, without revealing the character’s name.

Jetlee is being produced by Chiranjeevi (Cherry) and Hemalatha Pedamallu under the banner of Clap Entertainment, which also bankrolled the Mathu Vadalara movies, which were directed by Ritesh Rana and also featured Satya in lead cast. Mythri Movie Makers are onboard for this film as well as presenters. 

The shoot for Jetlee, commenced a few days ago.  By the looks of it, the comedy will unfold entirely in a mid-air aircraft, capturing a chaotic day in the lives of a few passengers and airline professionals. The title announcement for the film was made four weeks ago.  

Ritesh Rana also reunites with composer Kaala Bhairava for the film. The director has also penned the dialogues, besides co-writing the story and screenplay with Jeyendhra Aerrola. In the technical team, Suresh Sangamam is the cinematographer and Karthika Srinivas is the editor. Production design is by Narni Srinivas, and action choreography is Wing Chun Anji. Additionally, Chukkla Vijay Kumar has been credited as the co-director. 

Satya was recently seen in films like Andhra King Taluka and Dude, both of which were incidentally produced by Mythri Movie Makers.
