The makers of upcoming Ravi Teja starrer Bhartha Mahasayulaku Wignyapthi (BMW) held a promotional event on Saturday. While Ravi Teja was not present at the event, the primary team including the two female leads Ashika Ranganath and Dimple Hayathi, director Kishore Tirumala and producer Sudhakar Cherukuri interacted with the media.
On the occasion, Sudhakar spoke about how Ravi Teja was insistent on having a Sankranthi release for BMW. He added, “Ravi Teja was very firm on having a Sankranthi release for our film. Since the conventional entertainers are especially working during the Sankranthi season, Ravi wanted our film to have this release too.” Sudhakar also shared that Ravi began working on the film without taking any fee. “Ravi Teja still hasn’t accepted any remuneration for the film,” Sudhakar confirmed.
Among other details, the producer also confirmed that they do not plan to request for price hikes for their film, and will go with regular ticket pricing.
Besides BMW, Sudhakar Cherukuri is also the producer for upcoming Nani starrer The Paradise, followed by a project that reunites Chiranjeevi and Srikanth Odela. Sharing details on the Chiranjeevi project, Sudhakar said, “Srikanth Odela is currently busy with The Paradise. And we have been doing some pre-production work on the parallel. Once Srikanth gets a little free, we will fastrack the work on that film. We hope to start work in full-swing on the Chiranjeevi project from Mid 2026.”
Incidentally, Chiranjeevi’s Mana Shankara Varaprasad Garu is one of the many films in competition for Sankranthi audience, opposite Bhartha Mahasayulaku Wignyapthi. The other films in the Sankranthi race include Anaganaga Oka Raju, Nari Nari Naduma Murari, and The Raja Saab.
