Senior actor Srikanth’s son Roshan plays the lead role in the sports drama Champion, which is scheduled for a December 25 release. Malayalam actress Anaswara Rajan is making her Telugu debut with this film. The movie is jointly produced by three popular production houses — Swapna Cinemas, Anandi Art Creations, and Concept Films. The makers have announced that the trailer will be released on December 18, and Megapower Star Ram Charan will grace the event as the chief guest.
Swapna Cinemas, known for delivering acclaimed films such as Yevade Subramanyam, Mahanati, Sita Ramam, and Kalki 2898 AD, is backing Champion. The film has already generated considerable buzz with its intriguing promotional content.
Directed by Pradeep Advaitam, Champion also stars Nandamuri Kalyan Chakravarthy and Archana in key roles. Notably, Kalyan Chakravarthy is making his comeback to the big screen after 36 years. The two songs released so far have turned into chartbusters.
Providing an update on the trailer launch, the makers confirmed that Ram Charan will unveil the trailer on December 18. To mark the announcement, a special video titled Chirutha for Champion was released, delighting fans with the song Chirutho Chinde Veyyala.
The film’s music is composed by Mickey J Meyer, while veteran art director Thota Tarani has recreated the pre-Independence era.
