As December 25 weekend comes closer, several small films are gearing up for release on that date. Now, Bad Girlz has joined the list. The makers have officially announced that Bad Girlz will hit the screens on December 25. The film carries the tagline ‘Kani Chala Manchollu’, which stands in sharp contrast to its title.
The film is directed by Phani Pradeep Dhulipudi, who earlier helmed the successful 30 Rojullo Preminchadam Ela, starring Pradeep Machiraju in the lead role. With Bad Girlz, the director is returning with a fun-filled entertainer. The film is being produced under the banners of Prashvitha Entertainment, Neeli Neeli Aakasam Creations, and NVL Creations. The ensemble cast includes Anchal Gowda, Payal Chengappa, Roshini, Yashna, Rohan Surya, and Moin in key roles.
Speaking about the film, director Phani Pradeep said that Bad Girlz is a complete entertainer that explores how a film like Jathi Ratnalu or MAD would look if headlined by female characters. “We are very happy with the way the film has shaped up, and I am confident that it will enthrall audiences with loads of entertainment,” he said.
He further added that talented composer Anup Rubens has delivered excellent music, while Oscar-winning lyricist Chandrabose has penned all the songs. “The songs have turned out very well. The recently released track ‘Ila Chusukuntane’ has received a good response and crossed 6 million views,” the director noted. He also mentioned that the Bad Girlz anthem is garnering a strong response on social media.
Other Telugu films lined up for December 25 release include Roshan Meka-Anaswara Rajan's Champion, Aadi Saikumar's Champion, and Patang.
