Producer KL Damodar Prasad returns after a long break with his new film Eesha, marking his comeback with the horror genre. Meanwhile, Bunny Vasu and Vamsi Nandipati — who have been distributing successful films like Little Hearts and Raju Weds Rambai — have now acquired the rights to Eesha. Thrigun and Hebah Patel play the lead pair, while Akhil Raj, Siri Hanmanth, and Prithveeraj also appear in significant roles.
The makers unveiled the trailer on Monday. It begins with four friends setting out to expose fraudulent spiritual gurus. Prithveeraj, known for his role in Animal, appears as a baba who attempts to prove the existence of ghosts, ultimately pulling the group into a dark, unsettling world filled with terrifying experiences. As fear intensifies, the friends find themselves trapped in a creepy, deserted house inhabited by hidden spirits.
Whether they manage to escape and what horrors they encounter inside forms the central tension of the trailer. The cut is gripping and intriguing, backed by stunning visuals. Directed by Srinivas Manne, the trailer successfully builds suspense and suggests that the film aims to deliver a truly edge-of-the-seat horror experience.
Dhruvan’s background score stands out as a major highlight, heightening the tension and complementing the atmospheric visuals. Cinematography by Santosh Sanamoni is impressive, and the film is produced by Pothula Hema Venkateswara Rao under the HVR Productions banner.
Eesha is scheduled for release on December 12, and it remains to be seen how it will perform amid several other films releasing on the same date.
