Priya Bhavani Shankar paired with Ravi Teja in Shiva Nirvana’s film: Reports
Ravi Teja is one actor who remains unfazed by the results of his films and continues to work relentlessly. His recent release Mass Jathara bombed at the box office, but despite the setback, he didn’t slow down. His next film, Bharatha Mahasayulaku Wignyapti, is set to hit the screens this coming Sankranthi. While he is promoting that film, he has also signed another project with director Shiva Nirvana, and reports say that the shooting is already underway.
According to these reports, Priya Bhavani Shankar has been finalised as the female lead opposite Ravi Teja in Shiva Nirvana’s film. After featuring in several Tamil films, she made her Telugu debut with Kalyanam Kamaneeyam in 2023. The actress has acted in a couple of Telugu films, including Bhiima opposite Gopichand and Zebra with Satyadev. She also appeared in the Telugu web series Dhootha, starring Naga Chaitanya. She played an important role in Shankar’s Indian 2 as well, though the film did not perform well.
Meanwhile, Ravi Teja is juggling multiple projects and is on a signing spree. Bharatha Mahasayulaku Wignyapti, directed by Kishore Tirumala, features Dimple Hayathi and Ashika Ranganath as the female leads. A few days ago, a song from the film was unveiled in Rajahmundry, but Ravi Teja could not attend the event as he was busy shooting for Shiva Nirvana’s film, according to reports.
Shiva Nirvana earned recognition as a sensible filmmaker with his debut film Ninnu Kori with Nani, which was a major hit, followed by another success Majili starring Naga Chaitanya. However, his last two films didn’t receive much appreciation — Tuck Jagadish with Nani, which was released directly on OTT, and Kushi with Vijay Deverakonda, which fell short of expectations.
Now, there is curiosity around this new collaboration between Shiva Nirvana and Ravi Teja. Shiva is known for his family-oriented storytelling, and it remains to be seen how he will present a mass actor like Ravi Teja in this film.
