Komalee Prasad, who began her career 9 years ago, received Telugu film-goers’ attention with her performance in HIT: The Second case (2022). Her role in HIT: The Third Case (2025) was relatively shorter in screentime. However, the actor recently shared that she has no regrets being part of the popular thriller franchise.

Replying to a fan’s post, who expressed his admiration for her part in HIT franchise, Komalee Prasad posted on her X page, “Women cop roles with a purpose, alongside a star, with the film reaching a large audience  and the audience empathising with the character are very rare to come by.”

The HIT franchise actor added that it was never a regret, but ‘a fear that isn’t there any longer.’ Komalee also noted she now wants to headline a project like Kill Bill.

HIT franchise, that began in 2020, starred Vishwak Sen and Adivi Sesh in the first two installments, with Komalee joining the cast in 2nd instalment. The 3rd installment, headlined by Nani, emerged as a box office success. All three parts were directed by Sailesh Kolanu.

While the makers are yet to announce details of HIT 4, it remains to be seen whether Komalee will continue to be a part of the franchise.

Meanwhile, Komalee Prasad also has a release coming up with Sasivadane. The romantic drama, that was delayed due to some reasons last year, will finally hit theatres on October 10. The film, also starring Rakshit Atluri, is directed by Sai Mohan Ubbana.
