The makers of Roshan Kanakala’s upcoming film Mowgli 2025 announced that the film’s first teaser titled “The World of Mowgli” is going to release on August 28. The team released the update through a quirky promotional video featuring director KV Anudeep where the film’s leads interact with him as he humorously forgets their names.
Mowgli 2025 is an action love story headlined by Roshan Kanakala, who made his debut with Bubble Gum, and features Sakshi Mhadolkar as the female lead. Roshan is set to play a jungle-based warrior whose love story creates tension with the film’s antagonist Nolan, played by indie filmmaker-actor Bandi Saroj Kumar, who is making his entry into mainstream films.
The film is directed by Sandeep Raj, whose debut film Colour Photo won the National Award for Best Feature Film in Telugu in 2020. This film marks his second directorial venture.
Produced by TG Vishwa Prasad under the People Media Factory banner, Mowgli 2025’s technical team includes cinematographer Rama Maruti M, production designer Kiran Mamidi, music composer Kaala Bhairava, editor Kodati Pavan Kalyan, and action choreographer Natraj Madigonda. Rama Murthy M and Radhakrishna Reddy have been credited as co-writers. Mowgli 2025’s release date is expected to be out with the teaser.
