Ankith Koyya-starrer Beauty gets a release date

Ankith Koyya, who rose to limelight with his performances in last year’s films like Aay and Maruthi Nagar Subramanyam, will be seen playing the lead role in upcoming love story Beauty. On Saturday, the makers of the film unveiled a new teaser, also revealing the release date to be September 19.

As opposed to the earlier teaser which focused on the breezy romance between its two protagonists (Ankith Koyya and Telugu debutant Nilakhi Patra), the new teaser also showcases a new element of the movie, capturing its dramatic and more intense themes, where the female lead Alekhya gets kidnapped, and the hero gets implicated in the kidnapping case of his beloved. The new teaser adds further intrigue about the tonality of the film, which earlier promised to be a new-age and light-hearted romance. 

Beauty is directed by Vardhan, and has story and screenplay by RV Subramanyam. Dev is credited as co-writer. The supporting cast includes Vasuki, Nanda Gopal, Sonia Chowdary, Nithin Prasanna, Muralidhar Goud, and Prasad Behara. The technical crew includes Shrie Sai Kumaar Daara as the cinematographer, SB Uddhav as the editor, and Suresh Bhimagani as the art director. Costume designing is by Swetha Thanay. 

Baby fame Vijay Bulganin is the music composer for Beauty. The first single of the film, ‘Kannamma’ was released back in April.

The film is produced by Adidhala Vijaypal Reddy and Umesh Kumar Bansal, and bankrolled under the banners of Vanara Celluloid, Zee Studios, and Maruthi Team Product. 

As of now, Beauty is the only major Telugu release for September 19, unless Mirai makers confirm the same as their release date too, which they are expected to do within a few days.
