The first single from Bellamkonda Sreenivas starrer horror-mystery Kishkindhapuri, titled ‘Undipove Naathone’, was launched with a musical event that brought cast and crew together. The song introduces a romantic addition in the film, which otherwise promises to be a gripping, genre-blending thriller.
Composed by Chaitan Bharadwaj, the track features vocals by Javed Ali and lyrics by Purna Chari. With gentle rhythms and beachside visuals, the song portrays young love blooming between the lead characters played by Bellamkonda Sai Sreenivas and Anupama Parameswaran. Raju Sundaram’s choreography enhances the flow of the song, which serves as a light, emotional counterbalance to the intense horror elements teased in the film’s first glimpse.
Speaking at the launch, Sreenivas described Kishkindhapuri as a film that will appeal to audiences across age groups. “This is a movie that everyone from children to adults will like. It is a good horror mystery,” he said, urging viewers to experience it in theatres. Anupama Parameswaran echoed the sentiment, adding, “This is a very special movie with many special moments. You all should definitely watch it in theatres.”
Director Kaushik Pegallapati, who also wrote the film, recalled the emotional significance of launching the song at his alma mater, stating, “It is a great pleasure to turn on this song in the college where I studied.”
Kishkindhapuri is produced by Sahu Garapati under the Shine Screens banner. The film features music by Sam CS and is nearing completion, with a release date expected to be announced soon.
Meanwhile, Bellamkonda Sreenivas, known for his action-oriented roles, was last seen in Bhairavam. His co-star Anupama, too, has been expanding her repertoire with varied roles with Paradha hitting theatres on August 22.
