Sodara trailer: Two loving brothers stay close through thick and thin against all adversities

The trailer of Sampoornesh Babu-starrer Sodara was officially launched at a grand ceremony on Thursday. The event was attended by eminent film personalities including Sai Rajesh, SKN, Krishna Chaitanya, Naveen Medaram, and Poornachari. 

Directed by Mohan Menampalli, Sodara promises to tell a heartwarming story of two happy-go-lucky brothers who cannot live with each other. However, when trouble arises in the wedding of the elder brother (Sampoornesh), the younger brother decides to come to his anna’s rescue, and do whatever it takes to ensure the marriage takes place as planned, even tackling the complications in his own love life at the same time. 

Sai Rajesh said at the trailer launch event, “My bond with Sampoornesh is very special. After our film Hrudaya Kaleyam became a super hit, Sampoo supported me financially. He even paid a large advance to help me buy a car and house. He’s always stood by me. He helps others with the money he earns. Seeing him now makes me feel so proud.” SKN, who has produced many films including Sai Rajesh’s Baby, said, “There’s a real thrill when content-driven films do well. I’ve always wished well for small films. It’s wonderful to have a senior actor like Babu Mohan in this film. I hope Sodara becomes a massive success like Bro, and that everyone gets recognised.”

Arthi Gupta and Prachi Bansal play the female leads in Sodara, while Getup Srinu and Babu Mohan will be seen in a special comic roles. Chandra Chaganla is producing the film under Cans entertainment. Sunil Kashyap promises to embellish the narrative with his contemporary sound. Jaan is the cinematographer, while Shiva Sarvani is the editor. 

Sodara is set to release in theaters on April 25.
