Ashwin Babu’s next titled Vachina Vaadu Gautam

The first look and title of Ashwin Babu’s next project were unveiled on Monday. Directed by Mamirala MR Krishna, the film is now titled Vachina Vaadu Gautam. Daaku Maharaaj director Bobby Kolli launched the first look poster on his X page. 

The first look features Ashwin Babu in an intense close-up shot, with the actor wiping his face with a bloodied fist, while carrying a stethoscope. Vachina Vaadu Gautam promises to be a medico-action thriller, heavy on violence. MR Krishna has also written the script for his film.

The film marks the third feature production for Arunasri Entertainments, with T Ganapathi Reddy serving as the producer. While Sai Ronak will make a cameo appearance in the movie, the ensemble cast includes Rhea Suman, Ayesha Khan, Murali Sharma, Sachin Khedekar, Abhinaya, Ajay, VTV Ganesh, Shakalaka Shankar, and Raghava among others. Gowra Hari is composing the music. 

The makers have reportedly wrapped up over 90 per cent of the shoot and are expected to announce a release date soon. 

Ashwin Babu was last seen in the action-thriller Shivam Bhaje, which released in August 2024.
