Arjun S/O Vyjayanthi, starring Nandamuri Kalyan Ram, is set to release in theatres worldwide on April 18. The makers aim to capitalise on the summer break, billing the film as one of the season’s first major commercial releases.
Directed by Pradeep Chilukuri, Arjun S/O Vyjayanthi features veteran actor Vijayashanthi in a crucial role as Vyjayanthi, a senior police officer. The story revolves around the ideological clash between Vyjayanthi and her son, Arjun (Kalyan Ram). While she wants him to follow in her footsteps and join the police force, Arjun chooses a different path, becoming a gangster to fight injustice on his own terms. This conflict forms the core of the narrative.
Arjun S/O Vyjayanthi also stars Sohail Khan, Saiee Manjrekar, and Srikanth in prominent roles. It is produced by Ashok Vardhan Muppa and Sunil Balusu under the banners of Ashoka Creations and NTR Arts. The technical team includes cinematographer Ram Prasad, editor Thammiraju, and composer B Ajaneesh Loknath.
With an action-packed teaser and the first single, ‘Naayaldhi,’ receiving positive responses, the film marks the most expensive project for Kalyan Ram to date.
