Varalaxmi Sarathkumar starrer RTI is set for a direct-to-digital release. The upcoming courtroom thriller-drama is set to begin streaming on ETV Win from September 26 onwards. Directed by Suresh Krissna, RTI also stars Rajendra Prasad, Sashank, Harsh Rohan and Ravi Shankar in the primary cast.
The makers of the film also released a trailer with the said announcement. By the looks of it, the film revolves around the life of a handicapped lawyer (Varalaxmi) and her father (Rajendra Prasad), who are on a mission to fight cases related to a suicide case that opens the famous RTI Act. How the two stumble upon a larger conspiracy and tackle the oncoming challenges forms the crux of the story.
Varalaxmi was recently seen in the Dhanush directorial Raayan. Her last Telugu release was the action thriller Sabari, where she played the role of a cop.
Meanwhile, Rajendra Prasad was recently seen in the SonyLiv original Bench Life.
