The makers of MAD Square released their first single ‘Laddu Gaani Pelli’ on Friday. Sung by music composer Bheems Ceciroleo and Mangli, ‘Laddu Gani Pelli’ is a robust and catchy wedding dance number with a heavy use of rustic folk beats.
The lyrics are penned by Kasarla Shyam. The makers have billed the song as a ‘foot tapping baraat anthem.’ The music video is equally energetic, with the film’s lead actors dancing their hearts out at their friend’s wedding, shot in vivid colours and with an eye-catching production design (by Sri Nagendra Tangala).
Bheems Ceciroleo is also the composer for MAD, to which MAD Square is a sequel. The original, which released last year, emerged as a major box-office hit.
MAD Square stars Narne Nithin, Sangeeth Shobhan, and Ram Nithin in the lead roles. MAD filmmaker Kalyan Shankar returns as the writer-director for the upcoming sequel. Haarika Suryadevara and Sai Soujanya of Sithara Entertainments and Fortune Four Cinemas, respectively, are producing the film along with Srikara Studios, while Suryadevars Naga Vamsi is on board as the presenter. Navin Nooli is the editor and Shamdar is the cinematographer.
MAD Square is yet to get a release date.
