Vivek Sagar, who composed the much-loved soundtrack for the recently released 35 - Chinna Katha Kaadu, is also the music director for the upcoming Sree Vishnu starrer Swag. On Thursday, the makers of the film shared an update about their third single.
The said single, titled ‘Englandu Rani,’ will be released on Saturday, September 21. The first two singles of the film—'Singaro Singa’ and ‘Guvva Gootilo'—have collectively garnered over 2.9 million views so far.
The makers also shared a new Ritu Varma poster along with the said announcement. By the looks of it, ‘Englandu Rani’ will be centred on the Pelli Choopulu actor who plays Anubhuti in the film. Directed by Hasith Goli, Swag promises to be a multi-narrative satire, playing out in various timelines, offering a commentary about the age-old dynamics between men and women.
The upcoming satire comedy marks Hasith’s second collaboration with Sree Vishnu after Raja Raja Chora. The film also stars Meera Jasmine, Saranya Pradeep Daksha Nagarkar, Sunil, Ravi Babu, Getup Srinu, and Goparaju Ramana in the supporting cast.
Produced under the banner of People Media Factory, Swag is set for a theatrical release on October 4.
