The awaited trailer of Mathu Vadalara 2, written and directed by Ritesh Rana, was launched by actor Prabhas on Sunday. The trailer depicts special agents played by Sri Simha and Satya who get caught up in a crime that breaks all hell loose. Their workplace, The HE Team Investigative Agency, chases them resulting in a wacky roller coaster with other significant characters in the film. The trailer indicates more meme humour and outlandish characters than the film’s predecessor, Mathu Vadalara (2019).
The first part, Mathu Vadalara (2019) gathered an immense following among cinephiles for its wacky humour and new-age storytelling. The anticipated sequel also stars Faria Abdullah, Sunil, Rohini, Vennela Kishore and more. The makers mentioned that the second part will be double the entertaining with higher stakes and more fun.
Mathu Vadalara 2 has cinematography by Suresh Srangam, editing by Karthika Srinivas and music by Kaala Bhairava. The new-age film is all set to hit the theatres on September 13.
