AP-Telangana floods: Chiranjeevi, Ram Charan, Prabhas, Allu Arjun make huge donations towards relief work in the two states

On Tuesday, we had reported that many eminent film personalities from the Telugu film industry, like Siddhu Jonnalagadda, Vishwak Sen, and Jr NTR, donated large sums of money to support the relief work in the wake of recent floods in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. On Wednesday, more personalities came forward to lend their financial support for the cause.

Taking to his X page, Chiranjeevi announced his contribution of Rs 1 crore (50 lakhs each to AP and Telangana relief fund). “Under the direction of the Chief Ministers of the Telugu states, both governments are working to improve the situation as much as possible. We all need to be involved in relief efforts in some way,” the actor’s post read.

Allu Arjun too decided to donate 1 crore towards the CM relief funds. The Pushpa actor posted on his X page, “I'm saddened by the loss and suffering caused by the devastating rains in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. In these challenging times, I humbly donate ₹1 crore in total to the CM Relief Funds of both states to support the relief efforts. Praying for everyone's safety.” Ram Charan too announced his decision to donate 1 crore towards relief work collectively in the two states. His X post read, “This is the time to lend a helping hand to the people of Telugu states who are suffering due to rains and floods.”

Meanwhile, Prabhas donated Rs 1 crore each to the states of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana.
