Tollywood celebrities like Jr NTR, Vishwak Sen, Sidhu Jonnalagadda, Trivikram Srinivas donate to Andhra Pradesh, Telangana Flood relief

In the wake of the recent floods affecting many regions of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana, celebrities from Telugu film industry are stepping forward to provide aid. The floods are reported to have wreaked havoc, displacing many people. 

Jr NTR has pledged to donate Rs 50 Lakhs each to Andhra Pradesh and Telangana’s Chief Minister Relief funds. He also expressed concern and said, “I am deeply moved by the recent floods in two Telugu states due to heavy rains. I pray to that God that Telugu people recover from this calamity soon. On my part, I am announcing a donation of 50 lakhs each to the Chief Minister's Relief Fund of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana Governments to help the measures taken by the Governments of the two Telugu States for relief from the flood disaster.”

Actor Vishwak Sen also came forward, donating Rs 5 Lakhs each to AP and Telangana relief funds. Even actor Siddhu Jonnalagadda stepped in to donate Rs 15 Lakhs each to both states. Vyjayanthi Movies, who recently made Kalki 2898 A.D. also pitched an amount of Rs 25 Lakhs to the AP relief fund and wrote a hopeful dialogue from the film, “Repati Kosam (For the sake of tomorrow).”

Director Trivikram Srinivas, Producers S Radha Krishna and Nagavamsi together have donated Rs 25 Lakhs each to AP and Telangana relief funds.
